THE STATSRAAD LEHMKUHL FOUNDATION
The foundation was established in 1978.
The primary objective of the foundation is:
To work for the maintenance and preservation of the ship for future generations, and to provide employment that is in accordance with her traditions, including maritime training.
The foundation is centrally located in Bergen harbour with 5 persons employed in the administration, who also manages the friendship association (Statsraad Lehmkuhls Venner). The administration manages all facets of the operation and preservation of the «Statsraad Lehmkuhl». The ship has a complement of 22 persons during the sailing season; a figure that is reduced during the winter season.
